Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a small triangular stemmed point with an elliptical cross section.  The blade ranges from slightly excurvate to slightly incurvate.  The shoulders have short barbs with a straight to slightly contracting stem.  The base ranges from straight to slightly concave.  This type is manufactured using percussion flaking to rough out the preform then all edges and the shoulders were shaped using well controlled pressure flaking forming a random flaking pattern.

  Length - 24 to 47 mm (average 33 mm), Stem Length - 6 to 13 mm (average 9 mm), Blade Width - 16 to 30 mm (average 24 mm), Stem Width - 10 to 15 mm (average 12 mm), Thickness - 5 to 8 mm (average 6 mm)
