Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a small to medium triangular expanding stem point with an elliptical cross section. The blade may vary from straight to excurvate. The shoulders are commonly horizontal, but may range from slightly barbed to having a slight upward angle. Re-sharpening of the blade reduced the shoulders and blade. The stem is expanding with a concave or bifurcated base. This point has a random flaking pattern.
Size Measurements:
Total Length - 25 to 55 mm, Stem Length - 10 to 18 mm (typically 1/3 to 1/2 the total length), Blade Width - 15 to 35 mm, Neck Width - 10 to 20 mm, Basal Width - 13 to 20 mm.
