Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a small triangular
expanding stem point with a thin elliptical cross section. The
blade is short and stubby and primarily straight but may vary to
slightly excurvate. The shoulder vary from horizontal to having a
slight upward angle. The stem is slightly expanding. This
point is primarily made using percussion flaking forming a random
flaking pattern.
Size Measurements: Total Length - 22 to 28 mm, Stem
Length - 11 to 14 mm (commonly 1/3 to 1/2 total length), Blade
Width - 15 to 20 mm, Stem Width at Base - 13 to 18 mm,
Thickness - 4 to 7 mm (***based on small sample size***)
