Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a small (1 to 1 1/2 inch) triangular contracting stem point and a thin elliptical cross section.  The blade is straight, but may vary from slightly excurvate to slightly incurvate.  The shoulders are well defined and narrow, but may vary to a shoulder that is weak or absent.  The stem is short varies from slightly contracting to straight with a base that ranges from straight to to slightly convex with basal and hafting region grinding present.  This point is made using percussion flaking to rough out the preform then pressure flaking used to finish the shaping and to sharpen the edges forming a random flaking pattern.
