Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a medium stemmed point with an elliptical cross section.  The blade is short with straight edges.  The shoulders are prominent and vary from horizontal to having a slight upward angle.  The stem is straight with a straight to slightly convex bas and rounded basal corners.  This type is formed using percussion flaking to rough out the preform and finished with pressure flaking to shape and sharpen the point.  Basal and hafting region grinding is absent on this type.  This point has a random flaking pattern. 

Size Measurements:  Length - 41 to 51 mm (average 48 mm), Stem Length -13 to 17 mm (average 15 mm),  Blade Width - 21 to 31 mm (average 28 mm), Stem Width - 13 to 23 mm (average 19 mm),  Thickness - 6 to 10 mm (average 8 mm)
