Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a small to medium point with a flattened to elliptical cross section.  The blade may range from excurvate to straight.  These points are most noted for their short serrated blades which is most commonly seen.  The shoulders are weak to absent angle upwards towards the tip.  The stem may range from straight to expanding with the expanding style most common.  The base is concaved with basal grinding on the base and stem.  The width of the stem generally equals the length of the stem.  This point is manufactured  using primary percussion flaking with secondary pressure flaking commonly obscuring the primary flaking, forming a random flaking pattern.
