Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a small thin triangular side notch point with a flattened cross section.  The blade may vary from straight to incurvate with small narrow parallel notches entering high on the blade at a horizontal axis.  Some examples may have a second notch on the shoulder region on one blade.  The shoulders are horizontal with and expanded stem.  This point has a large basal area.  Examples with an incurvate blade may have flaring ears.  The base may range from slightly concave to having a deep concave or V appearance.  This point has a random flaking pattern.    

 Size Measurement:  Total Length - 18 to 36 mm,  Stem Length - 8 to 14 mm,  Neck Width - 4 to 7 mm,  Max Width (basal width) - 11 to 17 mm
