This is
a thin small to medium triangular contracting stem point with a flattened cross section. The blade may vary from slightly excurvate to slightly recurvate curving in at the tip and flaring out at the
shoulders edge. Some examples have had a straight blade. The blade broadest at the shoulders edge. The shoulder horizontal with a stem that is contracting and a convex base. This point is commonly well made and has a random flaking pattern.

This point is primarily found from the San
Jacinto River Valley in Texas and into Beauregard Parish and
northwestern Allen County Louisiana. This type has been reported
into Oklahoma with decreased frequency.
