Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a medium (1.75 to 2.68 inches) triangular expanding stem point with an elliptical cross section.  The blade is excurvate with a sharply acute or acuminate tip.  The shoulders are most commonly at an upward angle, but may range to horizontal.  The stem is expanding.  The base may vary from straight to convex.  Basal thinning is commonly seen and many points have basal grinding.  The basal edge may retain the rind from the original material.  This point has a random flaking pattern.

Size Measurements:  Total Length - 46 to 67 mm (56 mm average), Stem Length - 12 to 17 mm (14 mm average),  Blade Width - 23 to 29 mm (26 mm average),  Stem Width - 14 to 20 mm (18 mm average), Thickness - 8 to 10 mm
