Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a medium (2 to 2.75 inches) triangular expanding stem point with an elliptical cross section. The blade is primarily straight. Many examples have a slightly asymmetrical blade with on edge being straighter and the other more excurvate. The shoulders may vary from having a slight upward angle to having a slight barb. On examples with asymmetrical blades, the blade that is the straights will have a shoulder that is horizontal to having a slight upward angle while the excurvate blade will have a shoulder that is horizontal t having a slight barb. The stem is expanding. The base is most commonly straight with sharp basal corners. This point has a random flaking pattern.
