Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a medium to large lanceolate stemmed point with an elliptical cross section.  The blade is excurvate with the tip curving in, the sides becoming almost parallel, and the base of the blade may vary from parallel to curving in towards the shoulders.  The shoulders are at an upward angle.  The stem may range from slightly contracting, straight, or slightly expanding.  The base is straight.  This point has a random flaking pattern.

This point is primarily found in central Iowa and into eastern Kansas and eastern Nebraska.
