Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a small (.75 to 1.125 inches) triangular stemmed point with an elliptical cross section.  The blade is almost always straight, but rarely may be excurvate.  The blade may be serrated on some examples.  The shoulders may vary from horizontal to barbed.  The stem may range from slightly expanding to straight.  The stems are commonly as long as the blade.  In most examples the stem was wide (as wide as or wider than the length of the stem).  Light basal grinding and thinning are commonly seen on this point.  The base may vary from straight to concave or even bifurcated in some examples.  This point has a random flaking pattern.
