Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a small triangular side notch point with a flattened cross section. The blade irregular with the blade being straight towards the base and curving in to a mucronate or obtuse tip. Some examples have a notch on the blade just above the shoulders. Parallel notches may very from being wide forming a shoulder that is at upward angle and an expanding stem, to a smaller notch which forms a horizontal shoulder and an expanded stem. The base is concave and usually the widest part of the point. This point has a random flaking pattern.

This point is primarily found in Chihuahua and into Coahuila, northern Durango, northern Sinaloa, and Sonora Mexico. This point is found into southern Arizona, New Mexico and into west central Texas.
