This is a thin small
triangular stemmed point with a flattened to slight elliptical cross section. The blade may vary from excurvate, straight, incurvate, or recurvate curving in at the
tip and flaring out at the shoulders. The shoulders are most commonly barbed, but may range to horizontal. The stem is
usually rectangular with a straight stem and a straight base, but may vary from a stem that is slightly expanding and a base that ranges to slightly convex. This point
commonly has a high quality of workmanship and a random flaking pattern.
