Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a medium to large triangular stemmed point with a flattened cross section.  The blade may vary from straight to incurvate, however some examples have a excurvate to recurvate blade.  The shoulders may vary from an upward angle to horizontal to slightly barbed.  The shoulders are asymmetrical with one shoulder at more of an upward angel.  The stem is slightly contracting with a concave base and is generally slightly offset.  This point has a random flaking pattern

Size Measurements:  Total Length - 45 to 95 mm, Width - 20 to 35 mm,  Thickness - 6 to 10 mm

This point is primarily found in Virginia and into Maryland and North Carolina.
