Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is
a narrow medium to large lanceolate side notch point with an elliptical cross section. The blade is excurvate with the tip curving in, becoming parallel, and curving
back in towards the base. The overall appearance of the blade may range from an ovoid or a bi-point with low shallow parallel notches. The shoulders may range from weak to absent, or may be horizontal. The stem is expanding with a convex to pointed base. This point has a random flaking pattern, but a few examples have had a parallel oblique pattern.

archaeologist and Assistant Director and Curator of Collections at Glenn A. Black Laboratory of Archaeology at Indiana University. This point was named in his book on
points of the Southwest. There are currently few professional references to this type, but that may be due to the limited distribution and number of examples. This is considered a provisional type.
