Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a thick medium to large triangular expanding stem point with an elliptical cross section.  The blade is narrow and excurvate, commonly having a spike like appearance.  Shallow parallel side notches enter the blade forming a shoulder that may range from prominent to weak and at an upward angle.  The stem is expanding with a convex base that gives the base a bulbous appearance.  This point is commonly crudely made and has a random flaking pattern.
