This is a small to medium triangular side notch point with an elliptical cross section. The blade may vary from straight to excurvate. The shoulders range from horizontal to having a slight upward angle. The stem is expanded with a concave base. This point has a random flaking pattern.
Size Measurements: Total Length - 31 to 67 mm, Stem Length - 13 to 21 mm, Blade Width - 14 to 29 mm, Neck Width - 10 to 19 mm, Basal Width - 22 to 28 mm, Thickness - 6 to 9 mm
This point is primarily found through out the southern California coastal regions. This point is found eastward into the valleys and desert regions with decreased frequency.
