Olsen is a distinguished anthropologist who serves as the Curator of Anthropology at the Museum of Northern Arizona at Flagstaff.  He conducted extensive studies into the archaeology of Arizona and greatly promoted the understanding of prehistoric cultures of Arizona through his studies and publications.  This type was named in a professional publication and has limited professional references.  This is considered a valid type.
Dry Prong Multiple Notch

Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a small triangular side notch point with an elliptical to flattened cross section.  The blade may vary from excurvate to straight.  One or more notches are present above the shoulder on one blade.  Parallel notches enter the blade above the base creating a horizontal shoulder with an expanded stem. The base is straight to concave, or may be notched.  This point has a random flaking pattern.   
Size Measurements:

Total Length - 8 to 26 mm (average 18 to 20 mm),  Stem Length - 2 to 7 mm,  Blade Width - 7 to 13 mm,  Neck Width - 5 to 8 mm (notch depth 1 to 2 mm),  Stem Width - 5 to 15 mm,  Thickness - 3 to 6 mm.
