Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a medium to large triangular expanding stem point with an elliptical cross section. The blade may vary from straight to excurvate. Several examples have serration on the blade. Notches enter the blade from the corners forming shoulders that range from slightly to deeply barbed. The stem may vary from slightly expanding to expanding. The base primarily has a shallow center basal notch, but Perino (1976) notes that all examples do not have this center basal notch. The stem is long with rounded basal corners giving the stem a bulbous appearance. Some examples may have a bifurcated appearance. Basal grinding is commonly seen on this point. This point has a random flaking pattern.
