Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a medium to large triangular contracting stem point with an elliptical cross section. There is a wide variation of blade shapes for this point. Some examples have the tip curving in with parallel sides which other examples heavily re-sharpened examples have an incurvate or recurvate blade. The most common blade share is excurvate. The shoulders have as much variation as the blade. The shoulders may vary from barbed to having an upward angle. Much of the shape of the shoulder may depend upon the amount of re-sharpening the blade has had. The stem is contracting with a convex to pointed base. This point has a random flaking pattern.
