Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a thick large triangular stemmed point with an elliptical cross
section. The blade is broad and may vary from excurvate that is long with the tip curving in and becoming almost parallel towards the shoulder to a shorter blade with straight edges. The shoulders
range from horizontal to having a slight upward angle. The shoulders are commonly asymmetrical with one shoulder being less defined than the other shoulders. The stem is straight with a straight
base forming a wide rectangular stem. The base may have be snapped, unfinished, or beveled. This point has a random flaking pattern.
Size Measurements: Total Length - 55 to 110 mm,
Stem Length - 17 to 29 mm, Blade Width - 28 to 35 mm,
Stem Width - 22 to 27 mm (***based on small sample size***)
