Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a small thin triangular expanding stem point with a flattened cross section.  The blade is primarily recurvate, straight to curving in at the tip and flaring out at the shoulders edge.  Some examples have straight blade edges.  The shoulders are barbed and may flare outwards.  The stem may vary from straight to expanding.  The base are primarily straight, but may range from slightly convex to slightly concave.  This point has a random flaking pattern.

Size Measurements:  Total Length - 20 to 45 mm,  Stem Length - 5 to 7 mm,  Width - 15 to 24 mm,  Stem Width - 4 to 8 mm

This point is primarily found in the southwestern portion of the Edwards Plateau.  Frequency decreases into the Lower Pecos and Southern Texas.
