Pima Triangle

Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a thin small (1 to 1 1/2 inch) triangular point with a flattened cross section.  The overall shape may vary from an isosceles triangle (twice the height as width).  The blade is most commonly excurvate, but many examples have straight blades and fewer have incurvate blades.  The base may range from slightly concave to slightly convex.  This point has a random flaking pattern.    
Size Measurements:

Total Length - 11 to 32 mm (average 21 to 25 mm),  Width - 6 to 15 mm (average 10 to 13 mm),  Thickness - average 3 to 6 mm (***based on similar Cottonwood Triangular ***)

This name is rarely used except for points from known Pima associations. Most triangular points from this region are refereed to as Cottonwood Triangle.
