Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a thin small to medium triangular corner notch point with an
elliptical cross section. Then blade is excurvate. The
shoulder are prominent and very from horizontal to a slight upward
angle. The stem is expanding with a concave base and rounded basal
corners. This point is formed using percussion flaking to rough
out the preform and all edges are finished using pressure flaking
forming a random flaking pattern.
Size Measurements: Length - 28 to 37 mm, Blade Width -
9 to 19 mm, Notch Width - 2 to 3 mm, Notch Depth - 2 mm,
Basal Concave - 2 mm, Thickness - 2 to 4 mm (***based on small
sample size***)
