Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a medium to large stemmed point with a flattened to elliptical cross section.  The blade is primarily excurvate.  The shoulders are sloped upwards to rounded and are commonly asymmetrical.  The stem may vary from straight to slightly expanding.  This point has a random flaking pattern.

Size Measurements:  Total Length - 50 to 100 mm,  Stem Length -15 to 20 mm,  Width - 23 to 34 mm,  Stem Width - 15 to 18 mm.

This point is primarily found in central Texas.  This point may be found with decreased frequency into eastern Texas and western Louisiana.
