This is a small to medium thick triangular stemmed point with an elliptical cross section. The blade is narrow and may range from straight to excurvate and is commonly thick giving the appearance of a spike type point. The blade is commonly asymmetrical. The shoulders are at an upward angle and may be weak. The stem ranges from parallel to slightly contracting with a straight to convex base. This point is usually crudely made and has a random flaking pattern.
