This is a thin small (1 to 2 inches) lanceolate point with a thin elliptical cross section.  The blade is excurvate, curving in at the tip and curving back in towards the base.  The base ranges from straight or concave to convex.  The flaking pattern is random, and this point commonly has a high quality of workmanship.

Additional Comments:

Bullen described this point in 1975 comparing it to the Nodena and Guntersville point (Schroder, W18).

Bullen (1975) notes that the Ichetucknee is similar, but he says it is more neatly chipped than Guntersville points from Alabama.  This point is similar to the Pinellas, except that the Pinellas has sharp basal corners while this point has a blade that curves back in towards the base.  Unlike the Tampa point which has a convex base, this point has a straight to slightly concave base.
