This is a narrow
medium to large triangular stemmed point with an elliptical cross section. The blade is primarily excurvate, but smaller examples may have only a slightly excurvate blade
and large examples may have a curve towards the tip and almost parallel. The shoulders are at an upward angle with many examples having weak shoulders. The stem us usually straight, but may vary to slightly expanding. The base is concave with basal and hafting region grinding. This point has a random flaking pattern.

95 mm, Stem Length - 13 to 18 mm, Blade Width - 16 to 24 mm,

This point is primarily found central to east-central Texas.

This point is similar in appearance to the Darl type. However, this point is slightly cruder flaking than the Darl type and this type has grinding on the hafting area which is not seen on the Darl type.
This point was originally included in the Darl type, Prewitt (1981) noted that this is an older point with different characteristics and separated the two types (Turner and Hester, 1985).
