Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a medium to large expanding stem point with an elliptical cross section. The blade may vary from excurvate to straight and is commonly beveled when re-sharpened. The shoulders may vary from barbed to having an upward angle. The stem ranges from parallel to expanding. The base is primarily straight, but may vary from slightly convex to slightly concave. Grinding is seen on the stems and bases. This point has a random flaking pattern.

This point has been found in association with Golondrina points placing it into the Transitional Paleo period (Turner and Hester, 1985).
Examples found at the Wilson Leonard site in Bell County, Texas were referred to as Wilson points (Turner and Hester, 1985).
