Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a small to medium triangular side notch point with an elliptical cross section.  The blade is primarily excurvate, but may range from straight to slightly incurvate on re-sharpened examples.  The shoulders are strong and may vary from horizontal to having an upwards angle.  The shoulder do not vary to barbed.  The stem is expanding and has sharp basal edges where the stem meets up with the base.  The stem is generally the same width as the blade.  Re-sharpened examples may have a stem slightly wider than the blade.  The base varies from convex to slightly convex.  This point has a random flaking pattern.

This point is primarily found in the lower Pecos of Texas and into Mexico.  This point may be found in southwestern Texas and into southern New Mexico with decreased frequency.  Distribution extends into northern Durango, northern Zacatecas and the panhandle of Tamaulipas, Mexico.
