Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a  large triangular side notch point with an elliptical cross section.  The blade varies from straight to slightly excurvate.  The stem is expanding with the widest portion of the point being at the base.  The base is concave giving the ears a "drooping" appearance.  This point has a random flaking pattern.
Size Measurements:

Total Length - 75 to 84 mm, Stem Length - 9 to 11 mm,  Blade Width - 28 to 36 mm , Basal Width - 38 to 42 mm,  Neck Width - 26 to 31 mm (***based on small sample size***)

These points were included in Cook's publication on Cueva de la Nopalera (Plate 15 Number 16-19), but never discussed in the text. All of the graphs, illustrations, and discussions never mentioned a name or details. Because these were so unique, I added them to the site. I applied the name of the type site, but if I come across a proper name, of if anyone can send me more information about this type, I will update it.
