Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a medium triangular stemmed point with an elliptical cross section. The blade is excurvate with notches entering both blade just above the stem. The shoulders are barbed and have a "drooping" appearance. The stem ranges from straight to slightly contracting with a convex base. This point has a random flaking pattern.
Size Measurements:
Length - 49 to 72 mm, Stem Length - 4 to 7 mm, Blade Width - 28 to 36 mm, Stem Width - 9 to 13 mm, Neck Width - 19 to 22 mm (***based on small sample size***)

These points were included in Cook's publication on Cueva de la Nopalera (Plate 15 Number 16-19), but never discussed in the text. All of the graphs, illustrations, and discussions never mentioned a name or details. Because these were so unique, I added them to the site. I applied the name of the type site, but if I come across a proper name, of if anyone can send me more information about this type, I will update it.
