This is a medium to large triangular point with an elliptical cross section. The blade is slightly excurvate with a straight base. The basal corners are slightly rounded.
This point has a random flaking pattern. This point is manufactured by direct percussion flaking.
Size Measurements: Total Length - 40 to 60 mm (average 55 mm),
Width - 25 to 35 mm (average 27 mm), Thickness - 24 to 35 mm
(average 27 mm), Thickness - 10 to 18 mm (Keel, 1987)

This point is most commonly found in the Piedmont of North Carolina and South Carolina and into the Appalachian region. This point may be found into the Piedmont of Virginia and Georgia and Appalachian
region of Tennessee.
