Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a medium ovoid to contracting stemmed point with a thin
elliptical to median ridge cross section. The long narrow
blade is excurvate with the widest portion of the point being the
midpoint. The shoulders range from weak to absent and at an upward
angle. The stem is contracting with a convex to straight base.
Lateral edge grinding may be present. This point is made using
controlled percussion flaking leaving the edges with a collateral ripple
flaking pattern.
Size Measurements: Length - 37 to 82 mm, Blade Width -
13 to 21 mm (average 16 mm), Thickness - 6 to 12 mm (average 8 mm)
