Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a medium to large triangular basal notch point with an elliptical cross section.  The blade is primarily excurvate, but many examples are heavily re-sharpened which reduces the size of the point and forms a straight blade.  The shoulders are barbed and often extend to the base of the point,  The terminations of the barbs are commonly square, but may vary to rounded.  Re-sharpened examples may have reduced barbs.  The stem ranges from straight to slightly expanding.  The base is slightly convex and basal grinding is commonly seen.  This point has a random flaking pattern.

Size Measurements:  Total Length - 38 to 114 mm,  Stem Length - 5 to 10 mm,  Blade Width at Shoulders - 33 to 51 mm,  Stem Width - 15 to 22 mm (***based on small sample size***)
