Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a medium to large lanceolate stemmed point with an elliptical to median ridge cross section.  The blade is recurvate with the tip curving in, becoming almost parallel and then curving out at the shoulders.  The shoulders are generally horizontal, but may vary to having a slightly upward angle.  The stem is straight with a convex base.  This point has a random flaking pattern.

This point is primarily found from St. Lawrence Island to the coastal regions of Alaska and into the Brooks Range / North Slope and into the northern Yukon Territory.
