Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a long narrow medium to large triangular expanding stem point with an elliptical cross section.  The blade varies from excurvate to straight.  The shoulders range from having a slight barb to being horizontal.  The stem is short in relation to the blade and expanding.  The base is straight.  This point has a random flaking pattern.

Size Measurements:  Total Length - 50 to 90 mm,  Stem Length - 10 to 15 mm,  Blade Width - 25 to 37 mm,  Stem Width at Base - 15 to 20 mm

This point is primarily found in the mid Delaware River Valley, primarily the Tocks Island area.

Many publications place this point in the lower Hudson River Valley.  However, this point is named for Tock's Island in the Delaware River and is found in the Delaware River Basin.  This point has not been reported in the Hudson River Valley.
