Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a small to medium side notch point with a thin elliptical cross section.  The blade ranges from slightly excurvate to straight.  Notches enter the side of the preform low on the blade forming shoulders varying from horizontal to having a slight upward angle.  The stem is expanded with a base that ranges from straight to slightly concave.  The base is always wider than the shoulders.  This point has a random flaking pattern.  pentagonal stemmed point with a flattened cross section. 

Size Measurements:   Length - 23 to 51 mm (average 33 mm),  Blade Width - 13 to 22 mm (average 18 mm), Thickness - 3 to 10 mm (average 5 mm)

These points have been reported in the Loma, Guadiana, and Suchil cultural regions of Chihuahua, Durango, Zacatecas, San Luis Potosi, Jalisco, and Aguascalientes Mexico.
