Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a small side notch triangular point with a flattened elliptical
cross section. The blade is straight with horizontal shoulders and
an expanded base. The base may vary from straight to concave and
commonly has a notch in the blade or lateral basal edge. This
point has a random flaking pattern.
Size Measurements: Length - 25 to 46 mm (average 31 to 34 mm),
Width - 11 to 22 mm (average 15 to 20 mm)

of Anthropology, University of Washington. Carlson has conducted extensive
studies into the archaeology of Canada. This point was identified in a
professional publication. Currently only two examples have been recovered
from the southwestern Yukon ice patches. This is
considered a cultural type.
