Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a medium to large triangular basal notch point with a thin
elliptical cross section.
The blade ranges from straight to slightly excurvate with the widest
portion of the blade being at the base. Notches enter the base of
the preform forming a shoulder that is barbed and may extend to the base
of the point with sharp terminations. The stem is straight with a
straight base. This point has a random flaking pattern.
Size Measurements: Length - 44 to 84 mm, Stem Length - 7 to 9 mm, Blade Width -
26 to 34 mm, Stem Width - 12 to 19 mm, Thickness - 5 to 8 mm.
