Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a medium to large side notch point with an elliptical cross section.  The blade is primarily excurvate.  Larger examples may have parallel edges.  Parallel U-shaped notches enter the blade forming a shoulder that is horizontal with an expanded stem.  The base is usually straight, but may vary from slightly concave to slightly convex and basal and hafting region grinding is present.  This point has a random flaking pattern.   

Size Measurements:
  Total Length - 35 to 120 mm (average 60 to 70 mm,  Stem Length - 12 to 19 mm,  Blade Width - 19 to 42 mm (average 22 to 32 mm),  Neck Width - 15 to 28 mm,  Notch Depth - 4 to 6 mm,  Stem Width - 19 to 40 mm.
