This is a medium blade that may vary from ovoid to lanceolate with an elliptical cross section. The blade is excurvate with the tip curving in and becoming almost parallel towards
the mid-section of the blade, and curving back in towards the base. The base may vary from convex to straight. This point has a random flaking pattern.

This is a cache blade that is often found in association with Adena type point. They may have served as preforms for Adena type point, specifically Robbins type points. Many of
these examples have the flaking patterns and similar finishing flaking that is seen on Adena type points, only lacking the hafting element of the Adena type point (Justice, 1987).
