Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a medium lanceolate with an elliptical cross section.  The blade is excurvate with the tip curving in, becoming parallel to almost parallel, and curving back in towards the base.  The widest part of the blade is the top on third to one half of the blade.  The base is deeply concave or deeply notched.  The hafting region has light grinding, this point has parallel flaking pattern.

This point is considered the Plains Mountain tradition and is associated with the foothills of the western plains of Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and into Canada.
