This is a small triangular expanding stem point with a flattened cross section. The blade is primarily straight, but may be slightly excurvate. The shoulders are commonly weak and horizontal, but may vary to barbed. The stem is expanding with a straight edge of the stem. The base may vary from straight to concave with a center notch which gives the point an eared appearance that flare outward. The ears may be squared to pointed. This point has a random flaking pattern.
