The full distribution is not know, but seem to be limited to Whiteside County Illinois and the surrounding region.
JORDAN (Corner Notch) –
was named by self taught archaeologist Greg Perino for examples recovered
from dry shelters sites near Jordan township in Whiteside County, Illinois.
They are medium sized (2” to 3”) projectiles with parallel blades,
minute corner notches and short, expanded stems with straight bases.
Distribution appears to be limited to the immediate area of discovery
and they remain undated but were believed to be in use during the middle
Archaic period.
