Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a medium lanceolate expanding stem point with an elliptical cross section.  The blade is excurvate with the tip curving in, the edges becoming parallel, and curving back in towards the base.  The shoulders are at an upward angle.  The stem is expanding with a convex  to straight base.  This point has a random flaking pattern.

Total Length - 45 to 95 mm,  Stem Length - 11 to 20 mm,  Blade Width - 11 to 23 mm,  Neck Width - 9 to 13 mm,  Stem Width - 10 to 22 mm

This point is primarily found in the mid Ohio River Valley and into the Tennessee River Valley.  This point may be found into the Blue Ridge region of Virginia and North Carolina with decreased frequency.
