Imnaitchiak Chert is associated with the Imnaitchiak Chert Formation (formerly included in the Siksikpuk Formation) of the Etivluk Group of Alaska. Occurs as beds and large nodules with exposures occurring from the Anaktuvuk River of the Endicott Mountains to Wulik Peaks in the Dehng Mountains and in the foothills west of the Killik River and in the central and west central Brooks range.
