Taylor Ranch Chert is associated with the Taylor Ranch Limestone Member
of the Hess Formation of Texas occurring as nodules in the Glass
Mountains. Primary outcroppings occur at the east end of the Hess
Ranch eastward towards Conoly Brooks Ranch west of meridian 103.
