Distribution Comments:

Mount Merino Chert is associated with the Mount Merino Formation of the Normanskill group of New York.  Primarily found as cobbles along Saratoga Lake and associated creek beds in New York.  The West Athens Hill Quarry is presumed to be Mount Merino Chert.
